I’m a mother, grandmother, daughter, caregiver, and breast cancer patient.  I’m also a teacher, and a proud member of Gen-X, and also the sandwich generation.  My parents live with us, and my mom has been fighting lung cancer for 7 years now. So my breast cancer diagnosis completely upended my life plans and goals.  Suddenly I needed a caregiver, and that was not something I was prepared for.
